The glamorous life of professional musicians

Day two in the Fellside house. Toby, Pif, Salma and Olly are all in the control room listening to the rhythm section playing Jungle Queen. Sarah is in the studio practising. This stuff is taking way longer than we thought, but we LOVE Bob, the genius engineer who makes it all OK. Good ol' Bob, although he is in fact younger than Olly and Pif.

We stayed in a Travelodge. It is newly constructed - so newly constructed, in fact, that they have not yet installed the regulation Travelodge sofa. So Olly slept on the floor. But we were too English and polite to complain...

Happy days. Or are they?

Proper Stuff

So we're off to Fellside tomorrow evening to get this shindig underway proper. How exciting! But we still don't have an album name. We've tried... and thus far failed. Who knows, perhaps it will all become clear in the studio this week... or over a cup of tea... or a glass of wine or four... or five.
